We are a team of dedicated governance enthusiasts who have been in the governance space for over four years. Our team were some of the first members involved in defi governance and we want to apply what we have learned over the years to Paraswap.
Members of the team have been using Paraswap as their go to Dex Aggregator for a few years now. Positive slippage resistance relative to other aggregators is something that got us initially attracted and we’re impressed by the continuous growth since. We’re excited to become delegates and are grateful to be along for the journey!
Driver and Core Values:
Growth: Our decisions are primarily focused on the growth of the protocol. This often results in how to spend money efficiently, but even more importantly and objecting for unreasonable spends and knowing when to vote no.
Transparency: Clear communication with votes and explanations of reasoning, and an equivalent demand for proposals to do the same. Too often we see thousands, if not millions, being rolled up together and glossed over during proposals.
Accountability: Too often once a decision is done, having proper accountability becomes an afterthought. Whether it’s a DAO promise or a grant or a new program, once a DAO votes something in, we forget about it. Our goal with PGov is to both continue to check in on these decisions as well as ensure that there are proper channels set up to ensure accountability.
Conflicts of Interest:
If situations arise, we will abstain from a vote, and clearly state the conflict on the forums.
We voted For: Cheers to the @SEEDGov team for spinning this up! We’re excited to hopefully get involved over time and look forward to governance at Paraswap!
We voted For: We are in support of this proposal as it focuses on automating reward distribution and gas refunds, both of which we think will significantly enhance operational efficiency for ParaSwap. Automation will minimize human error, reduce manual effort, and streamline workflows.
We voted For: We are in favor of the upcoming token and allocations and believe the plan put forward is well thought out and logical. Thanks to all parties for their hard work and we look forward to the upcoming updates.
We voted Against: This proposal just doesn’t seem the most convincing and the lack of social presence is worrying. We recommend some more discussions on this one.
We voted For: We are in support of this proposal as it speeds up the process drastically for stakers to migrate. No downsides here in our opinions and as the process completes, the tokens will be returned to the DAO.
We voted For: Excited to see this start. The background reasoning, report, and post by the Seed team was very comprehensive and the following discourse had some good feedback that was included. As noted, we think some of the changes are logical and are in support.
We voted For: We are in favor as this is the ethical thing to do in our opinions and the 10% bounty is in line with general practice. We gave some more thoughts below, but given this is also not that much funds, the easy and simple correct thing to do is return.
We voted For: We are in favor of leveraging Base’s growth, the enhanced staking flexibility and liquidity provisioning. Overall, the budget request is very reasonable and we think the Laita Labs team is well suited to deliver.
We voted For: We think this is a great happy medium for increase in quorum. We have consistently blown past the prior quorum and this new quorum makes sense.
We voted For: We are very happy with the team that was on the initial growth group and believe this proposal is very advantageous to keep going forward. The budget and scope are very reasonable as well. Some more context:
We voted For: This is in line with prior agreements the DAO has made and we continue the support for this follow up Rewards distribution, very similar reasoning to the prior above vote.
We vote For: Very similar to our opinions regarding the Velora Governance Task Force, we are impressed and proud of the work that the @SEEDGov team, in addition to @Avantgarde, @citizen42, and @AranaDigital did on the trial PGWG. Establishing the VGC, and setting in place the Velora Growth Framework is something we are looking forward to and the outline and proposal is very reasonable.
