The Velora Contributors Program (VCP) – Cycle 2 , which was approved by PIP-70, established a new parameter called Contributor Points (CP) . Delegates who make extraordinary contributions within each month will qualify for these points. These contributions include, but are not limited to:
In order for us, as Program Manager, to be aware of and evaluate extra-governance extraordinary contributions made by delegates outside the forum, we are opening this thread and kindly ask you to follow these simple requeriments:
By the last day of each month, delegates who considerer they have made any extraordinary contribution must post in this thread all relevant details, including links or any public evidence of the contribution. They may also report the impact they believe the contribution had, and provide, if available, verifiable objective metrics and data.
If the contribution was carried out jointly by two or more delegates, one of them should post the public evidence of the contribution, tagging the other participants. In addition, they should indicate the distribution of tasks, scope of work, and any other detail they consider relevant to understand each participant’s role.
SEEDGov will evaluate all contributions reported by delegates by the last day of each month and will publish the results, as usual, during the first days of the following month.
Any contribution that is not reported in this thread by the last day of each month will not be taken into account, since for obvious reasons we cannot be aware of absolutely everything that happens or of the delegates’ activities outside the forum. We therefore count on your supports and require that such contributions be reported through this public and transparent channel.
This framework is an open invitation for anyone to contribute their unique skills. It’s a system based on proof-of-work, and it creates a flywheel effect. Happy to contribute regularly.
Hi everyone, regarding extraordinary contributions, we’d like to share that over the past two weeks, WakeUp Labs has dedicated time to adapting and implementing the changes needed for Gas Refunds and Rewards Distribution, ensuring they work smoothly with the migration from PSP to VLR.
This was carried out as part of our commitment to the DAO’s ecosystem. It required work beyond the regular hours normally dedicated to reward and gas refund calculations each epoch, and we believe it has been key to safeguarding stakers and simplifying the transition.
Assisted @SEEDGov in attempting to fix snapshot post migration, although a pleasure to work with Marian and Nix I dont expect this to be counted unless all agrees
Hi we published an thread on twitter to highlight the utility of VLR token to echo with the ongoing DAPG program to support the growth the VLR. We also look into the valuation and compare the multiples of VLR with other peers and point out that VLR can be considered undervalued.
