As a part of our ongoing contributions to the Velora Growth Committee (VGC), we’re happy to announce the launch of the Velora Community Mirror! Section 3.3 of the VGC’s Scope & Responsibilities includes the creation of marketing and educational content; this initiative is meant to tackle two of those responsibilities - educating the community by posting longer-form articles, and expanding Velora’s brand presence.
The Velora Community Mirror is a Shared Channel!
The Mirror channel isn’t intended to only be an educational channel for the VGC to post updates. We’d like to invite contributing teams, delegates, and other community members to use this resource to regularly post updates or other articles related to Velora. Ultimately, this is meant to be a centralized, shared source of public-facing resources from various contributors within the Velora Community.
Thanks for taking lead on this initiative with the VGC! Wanted to emphasize how excited we are with the shared community channel and look forward to future convos and content there! Urging teams re: delegates, to join!
This week, we zoom out and take a look at July’s governance activity. The month featured many forward-looking discussions and the community has remained highly engaged despite there being fewer formal proposals.
Thank you for the article!
A quick question. Will this article be posted on X at some point later? It would be better to post it on X, but we haven’t found any so far.
We at SEEDGov publish them all from our X account to raise awareness, and Velora has retweeted them. Here, for example, is the latest one; we have done the same with the previous ones.
This has been a great initiative and we’re impressed by the quality of the content! Thanks for setting this up @boardroom. Great to see the level of engagement from the DAOs delegates!
This is a solid initiative, congrats @boardroom for putting this together! Really good to see high-quality content and such strong engagement from DAO delegates. Excited to follow what comes next.
After the launch of VLR, we decided to dedicate this week’s post to act as a companion piece to the announcement, consolidating the main changes and call-to-action for users.
This week, we take a look at our routine end-of-month recap of DAO activity. This post looks at Velora’s governance initiatives, outcomes, and metrics from a high level during the month of September.
Note: apologies for the slight formatting issue; Mirror has been buggy!
Here, we give an overview of the Velora DAO’s OP grant application, submitted by the VGC. This article outlines the proposal and its current status in the application review process.
