Introduction:
I’m Benjamin Bauer, contributing in a personal capacity as a Web3 ecosystem builder with a focus on product, growth, governance, and community development across Latin America. I hold a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Project Management (USP/ESALQ), and have led operations and governance like Scroll delegate at Modular Crypto, ecosystem expansion at ICP Hub Brasil, and product development at the climate-tech startup DeCARB.

I actively contribute to DAOs and stay engaged with forums like Scroll, Arbitrum, and Celo, always aiming to bridge local communities with global networks. My way of working is highly collaborative and async-friendly, using some tools, and governance forums to deliver clear, measurable outcomes.

My main driver for becoming a ParaswapDAO delegate is to help expand access to efficient, fair, and user-centric DeFi tools — especially in emerging markets where these solutions can make the biggest difference. I believe Paraswap has a unique role in democratizing liquidity and improving user experience for DEX traders.

As a delegate, my objective would be to amplify community voices, advocate for proposals that strengthen the protocol’s sustainability and adoption, and foster partnerships that connect Paraswap with local builders and communities, especially in Latin America.

My aspiration is to bridge strategic governance with real user needs — ensuring that decisions are inclusive, transparent, and aligned with long-term impact and innovation.

I’m motivated by the belief that decentralized tools can drive real-world impact, especially in emerging markets, and I’m always excited to co-create solutions with aligned communities.

COI Disclosure:
I have no conflicts of interest that would affect my role as a ParaswapDAO delegate.

Currently, I serve as a delegate for the Scroll ecosystem through Modular Crypto, where I focus on governance alignment and ecosystem growth.

I am committed to maintaining transparency and ensuring that my contributions remain independent, community-focused, and aligned with ParaswapDAO’s best interests.

Proposal: PIP-66 - Deprecation of the Governance Committee

Vote: For

Rationale: We voted in favor of this proposal.
This is a clear step toward decentralizing and streamlining DAO operations by sunsetting a structure that has become redundant. The transition to a multisig governed by service providers and top delegates demonstrates how much the DAO has matured — both in coordination and trustless infrastructure.

Proposal: PIP-67: Project Miro - Deployment of VLR on BSC

Vote: For

Rationale: This is a smart next step — BSC has a strong ecosystem and is already the sixth-largest source of trading volume on Velora, which shows there’s real user interest there.

At the same time, I think it’s important for us to track some basic success metrics for this kind of expansion. Things like VLR trading volume on BSC, number of unique holders, and total transactions would help us understand what’s working and how to improve in the future.
