Call to Staker-Delegators to migrate to the new VLR token and re-delegate

We inform the community that, in our role as Governance Task Force, and following the long-awaited launch of the new VLR token and Laita’s activation of the migration mechanism from PSP to VLR and the VLR staking system, as approved in PIP-56 and PIP-60, we have implemented the following updates in Velora’s Snapshot voting portal:

  • Replaced the old voting tokens sePSP1 and sePSP2 with the new VLR and seVLR (staking token).
  • Added Base as a new voting chain with VLR and seVLR tokens, in addition to Ethereum and Optimism.

We call on all staker-delegators to migrate from PSP to VLR and re-delegate to their trusted delegates. New stakers are also invited to delegate their voting power to any of the active delegates in our community.

This will allow DAO governance activities to resume as soon as possible, continuing the path of strengthening the DAO as a key driver of Velora’s growth.

If anyone detects any error in the Snapshot portal regarding the new voting tokens, please let us know so we can take the necessary corrective actions.

Thank you!

Thanks for the update, @SEEDGov!

We inform to the community that a problem occurred in Snapshot after configuring the new VLR and seVLR tokens, which makes it impossible to view the list of delegates and delegate tokens. The problem does not seems to be with the JSON call, but an internal server error with the API return that Snapshot uses (Gnosis Guild), which cannot find the VLR/seVLR tokens.

We contacted Snapshot team, and they confirmed that there is a problem with the Gnosis Guild’s delegate API used by them, so they will contact them to find a solution.

We have asked them to please keep us updated. We will do the same with the community.

Thanks.
