However, after careful consideration, I have chosen to vote against the proposal in order to safeguard the long-term interests of the Velora protocol and avoid setting a potentially harmful precedent. At the time of the incident, Velora (then operating as ParaSwap) made substantial efforts to notify users across multiple channels and provided an extended reimbursement window. These actions demonstrated a clear good-faith commitment to user protection within the established framework. Moreover, as noted by other delegates, this specific case did not involve an active protocol exploit but rather the subsequent use of an old approval that remained valid long after the initial incident had been resolved and mitigated.
