Thank you for making this proposal and bringing up the possibility with the community. Having had Laita team members attend Governance Day in the past, we believe it is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in this topic. Despite this, we don’t believe this is an appropriate topic to bring forward as a DAO proposal.
Speaking from our experience organizing multiple in-person events - from dinner get-togethers to week-long hackathons - something like this requires careful planning and coordination with the event organiser that cannot be achieved at a whole-DAO level. This level of coordination comes from even before the event, as terms and pricing need to be discussed, negotiated and signed.
For instance, two of the tiers mention a booth, merchandise and a specialized track. Were this proposal to pass, we are not clear on who would be accountable for such responsibilities. Laita Labs has previously only discussed with the Seed team attendance, and no additional commitments were made. We are happy to explore assisting with our event presence, but would rather assist with this as an independent service provider, and focus DAO discussing improvements of Velora’s governance, product and token management.
