ParaSwap Delegate Incentives Program (Cycle 1) - Application Thread

Thank you @seedgov! We’d also love to join the program if there are still spots available and if we qualify. We’re really interested in dedicating more time to Velora, as we believe we can make a bigger impact on this protocol compared to others we’re involved in.

Unfortunately, our delegator is experiencing some technical issues with Snapshot, and the platform isn’t showing the most recent delegation we received. However, we should have over 1M PSP in voting power. Here’s our Snapshot profile: https://snapshot.box/#/s:paraswap-dao.eth/profile/0x21b3B193B71680E2fAfe40768C03a0Fd305EFa75

Hi @Argonaut According to your snapshot profile, your current Voting Power is 2.5k PSP, which is below the 1M PSP minimum required to be eligible for the DIP.

As for the other requirements, you meet them all: your forum account is older than 3 months, you have posted your delegation platform, and your participation rate over the past 90 days is above 80% (14 votes of 14 proposals).

We’re not sure why there’s a discrepancy, in case you do have over 1M PSP delegated. We suggest reviewing this post, which might clarify the issue. It’s also possible that it’s a Snapshot syncing issue, so we will double-check in a few days.

Until then, unfortunately, we won’t be able to proceed with your incorporation into the program, as there’s currently no evidence that the minimum Voting Power requirement is met.

Thanks for the guide. We’re still having issues with the Snapshot platform, but here is our delegator profile:

https://snapshot.box/#/s:paraswap-dao.eth/profile/0x0136A7B61c98940aa1dD00Acb007B8Fd1FD414f5

You can see they have 2.6M PSP in voting power. We asked them to sign a message from their wallet so you can verify that they want to delegate to us but are experiencing technical issues: https://etherscan.io/verifySig/275988

We reached out to Snapshot support, and they mentioned there’s an issue with the DAO’s voting strategy. We’re not sure if that’s the case, but we’ll wait until Monday before reaching out to them again, just in case it gets resolved.

Update on this: the Snapshot team found that the issue was on their end, they weren’t indexing the new delegators. Unfortunately, there’s no ETA for a fix, so we asked our delegator to migrate the tokens temporarily to our delegate account. While it’s less secure, the tokens now show up correctly in the user interface.

We corroborate in your delegate snapshot page that your current VP is over the minimum 1M PSP required, so being fulfilled the other requirements as indicated above, you are incorporated to the DIP as of today. Thanks and good luck.

Hi this is Today in DeFi Research. We would like to apply to join the DIP - Cycle 1.

We have >1M PSP delegation, a forum account with a minimum age of 3 months, created a delegation platform in the Delegation section of the forum, and ≥ 80% participation rate in voting in the 90 days prior to the application.

Thanks!

Hi @todayindefi, we have verified that all requirements have been met.

We would like to inform the community that, as there are currently 15 delegates participating in the program and this new application brings the total to 16, which exceeds the maximum number of available slots, we will apply the tiebreaker method established for such cases.

We will process the information, and in the coming days we will announce the 15 delegates who will be part of the program from August. As always, we will provide all the information and calculations openly for verification.

Delegate Cap Reached — Tie-Breaker Rule Applied

As of today, there are 15 delegates currently participating in the Delegate Incentive Program, with the recent application from @todayindefi, the number of applicants rises to 16, exceeding the maximum of 15 total delegates defined in PIP-58.

Accordingly, in our role as Program Manager of the Delegate Program, we’ve activated the tie-breaker provisions outlined in PIP-58, which were specifically designed to address situations like this:

The first tie-breaking criterion is based on voting participation over the last 9 months. We’ve collected data from Velora Snapshot portal to determine how many votes were held in Velora between October 22, 2024, and July 22, 2025 (a total of 26 votes), and how many of those each applicant delegate participated in order to prioritized the 15 delegates with the highest voting participation. This is the result:

Delegate Votes in the last 9 months – 26 proposals submitted to a vote
Citizen42 25
PGov 25
Jameskbh 24
Ignas 24
Mehdi 24
Boardroom 24
Arana Digital 24
Avantgarde 23
Curia 25
WakeUp Labs 17
0xAlex 21
Sov 19
DAOplomats 22
Tané 17
Argonaut 18
Today in DeFi Research 13

The full dataset—including vote counts, links, end dates, and participation data for each of the 26 votes—is available in this public spreadsheet.

Since the tie-breaker was resolved with the first criterion, it was not necessary to proceed with the second and third criteria.

As a result, and in accordance with the tie-breaker methodology, Today in DeFi Research is the delegate with the lowest voting participation rate over the evaluated period and, therefore, will not be admitted into the program at this time.

We remind all delegates and the broader community that Cycle 1 of the Delegate Incentive Program ends on August 31. In the coming days, we will open a discussion regarding its potential renewal and any improvements that could be made for a possible Cycle 2.

Thanks.
